In September 2022, the West Village Partnership was formed between three academies within The CAM Academy Trust - Everton Heath Primary School, Gamlingay Village Primary and Offord Primary School. The vision of this partnership is: working together to influence and inspire outstanding education through an agreed educational philosophy, enabling progression for all.
The board of trustees of The CAM Academy Trust delegate responsibilities for our schools to a Local Advisory Board (LAB) in line with the Trust's Scheme of Delegation.
Our Local Advisory Board is responsible for Everton Heath Primary School, Gamlingay Village Primary School and Offord Primary School and is made up of people who want to make a positive contribution to children’s education.
The role of the Local Advisory Board is a strategic one and its key functions are to:
The LAB both challenges and supports the headteachers to improve pupils' progress and to ensure the ethos and values of each school continues to align with those of the Trust.
The LAB meets four times a year to ensure the successful operation of all three schools.
LAB members can be contacted via the school office office@evertonheath.org.uk or by emailing the Clerk directly: clerk@gamlingayvp.org
We are currently recruiting parent governors so if you are interested please contact office@evertonheath.org.uk or speak to the chair, Liz Simpkin via wvpchair@catrust.co.uk
Previous meetings minutes are available upon request.
The Local Advisory Board members sign an annual register disclosing any pecuniary interests they may have. Each meeting agenda requires all attendees to disclose any pecuniary interests related to agenda items to be discussed.
The full register is available to view on request at the school office.
